What to do in the event of illness?

During your stay abroad, you are covered by international health insurance. There are, however, limitations to the benefits of your health insurance depending on the respective tariff. If possible, please show the attending physician your insurance certificate and the description of benefits of your insurance tariff prior to any treatment, thereby providing the physician with information about the scope of your insurance cover.

You can send claims notifications and medical bills directly to us with just one click. This shortens the processing time significantly. So please use this online form.

This replaces the submitting of documents via our MY-SAFETY-APP2. Of course, you can still use all other functions of the APP.

Please note that insured persons in the aidworker (AW-EH tariff) and residual cost tariffs (AW24-RK / AW-Plus-RK tariffs) cannot use this online service. Insured persons with these tariffs should send us their documents by e-mail or post.
